Mena Friends of Global Fund

Welcome to the website of the Friends of Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA Friends) aiming at raising the awareness of the people on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria and to high light the role of Global Fund in defeating and controlling the spread out of these infections in the world with special focus on MENA region. Our mission is to engage all stakeholders while strengthening the sense of social responsibility to prevent the spread out of HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria in MENA by supporting Global Fund.

MENA Fiends is based in Jordan and was established in 2009 with the technical & financial support of the philanthropist Mr. Samih Darwazeh & Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC; soon we will expand by opening Lebanon chapter supported by Uwayda Family to help us in such challenging and noble cause to mobilise more recourses, celebrities  and champions from the region to join the global fight against epidemic diseases.

MENA Friends was established based on a generous support of H.E. Mr. Samih Darwazeh  as an Arabic philanthropist. Who continuously shows commitment of a noble person towards health as a role model for others.
