My health, my smile

Through theatre messages can be shared in a way that audiences relate to. In this case, we will use comedy to help Jordanians understand the importance of health and health issues, and get across the key messages needed to address the issues at hand. Through story-telling and entertainment, the audience will be engaged and awareness will be improved.

The play will be performed by Jordanian actors and actresses, who will develop a humorous story based on the key messages of the campaign. They include popular Jordanian actors Rania Isma’el and Hasan Sabayleh, who are well known in Jordan and famous for their performance of “Za3al o ‘7adra”, a comedy show considered to be one of the best Jordanian shows that addresses local issues and trends in society. Rania is the Goodwill Ambassador for TB in Jordan so she is a supporter of this cause and through her artistic career stands up for it.

The play will be 45 minutes long and will be performed in governorates around Jordan, in public spaces and theater. The plays will be open to the public and free of charge. It is anticipated that 400 people will watch the play in each governorate, resulting in a direct reach of 4000 people, who will include decision makers at the governorate level, along with the community from women, men, and youth.
